Give your Passion

We know that not everyone can dedicate two sessions a month to serve directly through our Beyond Awesome program.  But we also believe that everyone can do something.  Read the following list of ways you can contribute to our community and still make meaningful impact in lives of youth in Singapore.  This could be you!

Teachers/Educators

Are you a teacher?  Have you experienced working in the education sector for awhile?  We'd love to host you as part of our 'Surprise Sessions'; a curated series of workshops for our volunteers who are looking for inspiration, words of wisdom and someone to share their experiences with.  You can share your personal journey as an educator, provide tips on working with children and youth and open up to the floor for a range of questions (they have plenty!).  All it takes is two hours of your time on weekday evenings or Sunday afternoons and you can pop in more than once - let's get the conversation started!

Social Service and Mental Health Sector

Are you from a social service organisation?  Have experience working as a social worker?  You could also have experience working as a school counsellor, child psychologist and more!   We'd love to host you as part of our 'Surprise Sessions'; a curated series of workshops for our volunteers who are looking for inspiration, words of wisdom and someone to share their experiences with. All it takes is two hours of your time on weekday evenings or Sunday afternoons and you can pop in more than once - let's get the conversation started!

Skill and Passion

Do you have a love for photography?  Are you crafty? Are you an amazing baker? Do you love hiking or co-ordinating fun experiences?  Do you have a special skill or passion?  We'd love to host you as part of our 'WCA Hangouts'; a curated series of sessions for our volunteer community to let their hair down (and not talk about the program for a quick minute!) so that they can learn a new skill, make a new friend and bond as a team.  Let's get the conversation started!
